From Port Coquitlam B.C., Cal is an ex-collegiate hockey player turned guitarist, singer, songwriter, and live looper. He blends the timeless energy of classic rock, folk, and blues, with the smooth vibes of modern R&B and hip-hop.
His guitar-based musical landscape lays the foundation for melodic vocals and lyrical rap, exploring the vast space between modern and retro.
In July of 2025, Cal released his debut album “Alone”, and since October 2025, has slowly been releasing singles leading into his second album, coming in Fall 2026.
