Alvaro is a singer-songwriter, performer, and artist born in the Philippines based in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada. His sounds resonate with the diverse influences of the pop music genre’s diverse influences such as: rock, synth-pop, and R&B. He crafts his music through directing its stories through the discography's lyrics, production, and visuals. With his debut record: “ALone” he has since established himself in the Halifax music scene being featured in local media outlets such as Halifax Media outlet The Coast, CBC Information Morning, and Support4Culture. Alvaro also has a history as a lead act performing live with a full band in Halifax’s Music venues and multiple music festivals. Some music festivals include the Food for the Ears Festival (Dartmouth, NS), Nova Scotia Music Week (Yarmouth, NS), and most recently at the TD Halifax Jazz Fest Main Stage. Additionally, Alvaro has also been a two-time performer of the US and Canadian National Anthems for the Halifax Thunderbirds, National Lacrosse League team at the Scotiabank Centre. Alvaro has released two records titled “ALone” and “ALone TOGETHER” which has reached over 20k streams on various platforms in addition to amassing up to 1k monthly listeners. His discography expands beyond the music as he released his Live Performance Film of his debut record (ALone TOGETHER) and a new music video for his latest release “WHEN WILL I BE HAPPY”.
