On May 26 from 4:00-5:00PM, join us at Boston Pizza Belleville where Aaron Bell will be launching his book "Junior Hockey Giants: The Local Legends of Belleville." Aaron will be signing copies of his book as well as doing a short presentation (including a trailer for the 4-part documentary series produced for Cogeco). There will also be a limited edition fine art print giveaway to the first 100 people!

Junior Hockey Giants is a definitive historical preservation project focused on the 50-year legacy of hockey in the Quinte Region.

Director's Note: "As a professional filmmaker and author, my mission is to preserve the digital heritage of the game. Having chronicled hockey in Belleville for nearly 20 years, I have captured the rise of local NHL stars and the evolution of the fans and businesses that supported them through the Memorial Arena and Yardman eras.

My archive is more than just a collection of photos: it is a timeline of the community brands that built our local hockey culture. While preparing the Junior Hockey Giants: Local Legends Belleville series, I rediscovered images from decades ago featuring local sponsorships at center ice and on the boards. These aren't just old advertisements- they are historical artifacts of a 20+ -year legacy of community support."
